Rita Bahr Cari Fellowships
The Klau Institute awards these fellowships each year to students in Notre Dame’s LL.M. Program in International Human Rights Law who have demonstrated a commitment to human rights in Latin America through their academic and professional careers.
Summer Law Fellowships
The Klau Institute sponsors summer fellowships for Notre Dame law students working in public interest organizations that promote civil or human rights. Fellows receive funding to assist with travel and living expenses.
Research and Travel Grants
Students are eligible to apply for funding to support specific projects. Typical awards range from $250 to $500, and are often used for attendance, facilitation, or presentation at civil and human rights-related conferences or workshops. Other educational activities that advance the mission of the Klau Institute will be considered.

Pasquale Migration and Human Trafficking Grants
The Pasquale Family Endowment for Excellence at the Klau Institute provides support to student or faculty research, work, or other engagement around migration and human trafficking. Funding is available to Notre Dame students and faculty.
