Students from the Center for Social Concerns Fall 2016 Human Trafficking Seminar (taught by CCHR Associate Director Christine Cervenak) were tasked with putting together a visual media project to raise awareness for human trafficking on Notre Dame's campus. This event aims to do just that. It will take the form of a "Humans of New York" display, featuring photos and narratives of victims, survivors, and combatants of human trafficking around the world. There will also be a "How Many Slaves Do You Own?" online quiz available to attendees. The goal is to get Notre Dame students thinking about human trafficking, in a hope that they will further investigate this global social injustice.
The exhibit will be available for viewing from February 7 through February 10 in the O'Shaghnessy Great Hall.
