This panel forms part of the fifth annual U.S. celebration of the Annual Prayer for Peace of the Community of Sant'Egidio. The Community of Sant'Egidio, famous for its work in peace mediation, is a movement of Catholic lay people with 60,000 members in more than 70 countries. The different communities worldwide share a spirituality and way of life centered around prayer, communicating the Gospel, solidarity with the poor, ecumenism, and dialogue for the sake of peace.
