This training session was designed to help individuals understand and identify signs of human trafficking. Conducted by the Indiana Protection for Abused and Trafficked Persons Task Force (IPATH), an initiative of the Indiana Attorney General’s office, it helped enhance the ability to identify victims of human trafficking and provide resources to assist victims when identified.
According to statistics from the Indiana Attorney general’s office, approximately 16,000 men, women and children are trafficked into the United States and 200,000 children are victims of commercial sexual trafficking each year.
