Location: Hesburgh Center Auditorium

One of the largest humanitarian crises in recent memory: 120,000+ dead; 5 million+ without adequate shelter, nutrition, or livelihood inside the country; 2.2+ million refugees alone. Join us to hear about humanitarian aid worker Kenan Rahmani's experience trying to deliver aid to Syrians stranded inside their country. Kenan will be joined by Fr Daniel Groody, C.S.C., who will offer a theological framework to the refugee situation he encountered during his travels to Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt in October 2012. Both will answer questions about the situation and what we at Notre Dame can do to respond.

Reflection & discussion to follow over Syrian Baklava & coffee.
