Drawing on his experience in the military, as a lawyer, and from his recent attendance of Khadr’s trial, Prof. Gary Solis will discuss important legal questions relating to murder in violation of the law of war, the admissibility of statements obtained through mistreatment or torture, and the trial of individuals at the time of the alleged offense.
